Paul and Paulene Dean welcome you to their 16th century Wealden farmhouse in beautiful countryside on the outskirts of the picturesque market town of Cranbrook. Tilsden House retains many original features and is steeped in charm and character, nestling within one and a half acres of formal gardens and grounds.

Tilsden House is situated in a perfect location to explore the charming villages, the towns of Tenterden and Rye, the historic buildings of Bodiam Castle and Batemans, the celebrated gardens of Sissinghurst, Pashley Manor and Great Dixter which are all in the area.
Cranbrook itself has many interesting independent shops, cafes and restaurants. There are plenty of good pubs around the area for real ale and cosy suppers.
Tunbridge Wells is just 25 minutes away, with its wealth of history and excellent shopping. Further afield we are ideally placed for a trip to London from our local station, just a journey time of 1 hour. If you want a taste of France, the Channel Tunnel terminal is about 45 minutes away or a quick trip from Ashford International on Eurostar to Lille or Paris.
